As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the most Made to Remember Christmas has arrived at PortAventura World.

All those who are looking for a unique, exhilarating and adrenaline-fueled festive period are in for a pleasant surprise. Does that sound right up your street? Then you’re precisely the kind of Adventurer that this post is intended for!

You’ll be able to embrace the magic of Christmas until 7 January 2024. But don’t keep putting it off, as you’ll only be able to meet our characters during these dates!

Wherever you cast your gaze, you’re sure to see something spectacular!

Our dearest Adventurers… we are pleased to announce that we have put up our iconic Christmas tree at the entrance to PortAventura World. Decorated by a myriad of baubles, bows and lights, it is a true spectacle worthy of the biggest Christmas blockbuster!

However, the decoration and theming of our resort goes far beyond this magnificent tree…

Hundreds of Santas have descended on Mediterrània, along with several snowmen and ranks of giant reindeer. In the same area, you’ll also find a festive photocall where you can pose in front of the camera from within a giant bauble. You’ll also be able to find everything from penguins to nutcracker soldiers and exciting gifts all around the park. Every corner of PortAventura Park is simply brimming with festive surprises!

Think you’ll be able to find the gingerbread man from Shrek? We bet you can’t!

Furthermore, all our areas will put on Christmas shows that are only performed at this time of year, such as ¡Ya es Navidad en SésamoAventura!, La Navidad de Woody and Christmas Dream.

However, if there are two shows that are sure to fill the night’s sky with music, colour and fireworks, they are Christmas Parade and La llegada de los Emisarios Reales. They’re a guaranteed hit for the whole family!

Christmas memories

The park’s shops will also sparkle for the Christmas season. During these special dates, they will sell unique Christmas products such as reindeer cuddly toys, teddy bears wearing Santa hats and very special “tió” Christmas logs…

Enter empty-handed and leave with bags packed to the brim with Made to Remember gifts for under the Christmas tree!

Special guests

Besides Father Christmas, there will also be elves, pages and a whole host of other seasonal characters waiting to greet you. There will also be one special guest who always shows up at PortAventura World for the festive season… Chilly Willy!

Chilly Willy is a crazy penguin who loves to have fun! Every year during the Christmas period, he swaps his home in the North Pole for a residence in our Imperial China overlooking some of our wildest attractions.

When you’re exploring this area, find him and take a photo with him. Any selfie with this iconic penguin will guarantee likes on your socials, no matter how old you are!
