As you’ll already know, our park is home to rides and shows for PortAventurers of all ages and tastes. However, we’ve been wondering if you’ve ever stopped to consider what PortAventura Park’s best rollercoasters and free-fall rides are?

Not every theme park has a thousand-year-old dragon within its grounds, so you should make the most of this unique opportunity to become acquainted with one!
In a mere 56 seconds, your adrenaline levels will literally skyrocket! Dropping groundward at 110 km/h from a height of 47 meters, and then having your world turned upside down across the ride’s 8 inversions, is an experience that you will never forget.
And if you ride this legendary dragon with a friend or family member, these emotions will double!
If you love the feeling of wind whipping through your hair, look no further than Shambhala! This iconic rollercoaster will have you feeling like a hawk skimming across the peaks of the Himalayan mountains.
Raise your arms and touch the clouds as you cut through the air at a height of more than 70 metres, before you plummet towards the floor even faster than Dragon Khan.
Dragon Khan and Shambhala are two of PortAventura World’s most thrilling rollercoasters. Each offers a unique experience to those who ride them. Dragon Khan, famous for its 8 inversions and top speed of 110 km/h, ensures extreme sensations and an unparalleled adrenaline rush. Shambhala, on the other hand, with a maximum height of more than 70 metres and a mind-blowing drop, offers an unrivalled speed experience that will make you feel like you’re flying. Both rides are incredible for different reasons, so you need to decide what you prefer in a rollercoaster: the loops and spins of Dragon Khan, or the speed and drop of Shambhala. Or even better, you could ride both of them and let us know which one you prefer after!
When we say that Furius Baco’s acceleration is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, we genuinely mean it. From a standing start, you’ll blast into the track at a jaw-dropping 4.7 g!
In no more than 3 seconds, you’ll go from sitting totally still in the launch station to tearing through the Mediterrània skies at 135 km/h. Hold on tight, scream your heart out and keep your eyes wide open to capture every last detail. Blink and you’ll miss it!
Not all of our rides involve flying through the skies. On our dark rollercoaster Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence, you’ll need to venture into the secret mine of Penitence and reach the exit without stopping to catch your breath.
Being in the dark amplifies the anticipation and cranks up the thrill. And just when you think you’ve reached the end, Europe’s largest lateral drop will take you by surprise! Get ready to climb, drop and twist without warning…
Uncharted is a true treasure waiting to be discovered!
Wooden rides just have something special about them, don’t they? The rattling of Stampida’s tracks will leave you feeling like you’re riding a stallion in the American Far West.
Choose red or blue, take hold of the reins… and off you go! Get ready to scream your heart out in this thrilling duel contested between devilish carts.

On Hurakan Condor, you’ll test the temper of the god Hurakan by climbing to the top of his much-treasured tower. Located in the heart of México, you’ll have magnificent views across PortAventura World from a staggering height of 100 metres.
But don’t get too comfortable, as shortly after reaching the top you’ll drop back down at lightning speed!
