That’s why we’ve teamed up with Wayra, Telefónica’s accelerator for connecting with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, to find the most innovative start-ups that look destined to change the future of entertainment.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for start-ups with ground-breaking ideas and a burning desire to see their proposals take shape in the real world. We’re trying to meet those entrepreneurs who are capable of envisaging a new tomorrow for the theme park industry, with unique and radical proposals that no one has dared to dream of before.

Who is eligible to participate?

Only start-ups in the late-seed or pre-series A phase are eligible to participate in this process.

Best of all, the start-ups don’t even need to be based in Spain! We know that talent is not restricted by borders, which is why companies from all over the world are invited to participate.

PortAventura World has remained at the very forefront of technological innovation since the day we first flung open our gates. For this reason, eligible start-ups must work with cutting-edge technological developments such as virtual, augmented or extended reality; artificial intelligence; the Internet of Things; robotics; and the metaverse.

They should also have a laser-like focus and specialise in improving customer satisfaction; creating unique, tailor-made and memorable digital experiences; achieving efficiencies in maintenance or operations; or delivering sustainable transformation.

Our adventurers are always at the heart of everything we do!

What do we offer?

The selected start-ups will form part of an exciting pilot programme in which they’ll be able to develop their services right here at PortAventura World. It’s as straightforward as that!

The start-ups will also be eligible to become one of PortAventura World’s official suppliers. But what does this mean? Well, it means that they’ll be able to accelerate the development of their products; gain valuable experience and visibility at events in which the company participates, such as 4YFN (Mobile World Congress; MWC); and receive up to 10,000 euros in funding to develop their project. They’ll also have a platform that will allow them to attract the attention of potential investors while gaining international visibility, and, as a consequence of all the above, expand their portfolio of services.

But that’s not all! Not only will they also have the chance to secure investment from Wayra, but they’ll also have access to its entire open innovation ecosystem, receive invitations to company events and be introduced to experts, investors and entrepreneurial leaders who could assist them with the successful development of their project.
