PortAventura World is always an adventure because each visit is so different. We love to surprise you. That’s why we are building the new Uncharted ride, creating new shows and, depending on the time of year, decorating the Resort to fit in with our specific theme.
Would you like to know what you will find during each of the seasons before you pay us a visit? Then keep reading, because if you’re torn between one time of the year and another, maybe this will help you to decide.
And it will be, for real. This is the first time that we will celebrate Carnival at the Resort and we want it to be memorable. For this reason, instead of a standard carnival, we have decided to create the Carnival of Carnivals.
The carnivals of Rio de Janeiro and Venice come together at PortAventura World so that you can experience one of the most joyous parties in the world to the rhythm of the samba, let yourself be carried away by Venetian elegance, and give it everything you’ve got in the parades and shows taking place around the Resort.
Street entertainment, parades of troupes, batucadas… Everything your body needs to keep the party going so that you can experience a different and unique Carnival that you’ll always remember.
As soon as Carnival ends, spring begins. And at PortAventura World we celebrate its arrival in style with Easter Celebration: we decorate the Resort with the world’s largest Easter Egg, we add theming to SésamoAventura for the little ones, and we organise all kinds of street entertainment that spread the fun.
In addition, at this time of the year we ramp up the adrenaline with the full opening of Ferrari Land so that the excitement is even more intense.
And, as if this weren’t enough, with the arrival of the good weather, we open the water attractions of PortAventura Park so that, in addition to having a great time, you can cool off on the hottest days of spring.
If there’s a time that is synonymous with fun, it is undoubtedly summer. Even more so at PortAventura World, where we take having a good time very seriously. For this reason, we extend the opening hours, so that you can stretch out an adventure that is already unforgettable for as long as possible.
You will find all the attractions open (including El Templo del Fuego), unique shows such as FiestAventura and Noches de Fuego en Tahití, and many more surprises. You’ll have to visit us to discover the rest!
In addition, we also open the doors of Caribe Aquatic Park, where you can escape the heat while you experience all kinds of emotions on the most frenetic slides.
For many adventurers, visiting the Resort during this season has become a tradition. And it’s not surprising, because PortAventura World dresses up for the occasion and the Halloween atmosphere becomes frightfully exciting.
If you’re looking for scares, you will find them in our passages of terror. You can also meet the creepiest characters and take a photo with them. And if you don’t want your heart to slow down, between frights you can get on the most adrenaline-pumping rides.
Make sure you look good in your ride photo to prevent an extra scare.
When this time of year arrives, we return to old customs, traditions, and reunions, but not everything has to be like this. Visiting PortAventura World for Christmas is the best example.
Can you imagine celebrating Christmas Eve at the Resort and spending Christmas Day on board the best rides? Or spending the last day of the year and starting the new year full of adrenaline? Well, you’ll experience this and much more if you visit us at this time of the year.
In addition, we adapt the shows and decorate the Resort throughout the Christmas season so that lovers of great emotions have the best Christmas ever.
