We will travel through PortAventura Park’s five worlds, seeing all the attractions that are the most fun and appropriate for young children. Here are the best PortAventura World attractions for children:

MEDITERRÀNEA

It’s a good idea to start your journey in the fishing town of Mediterrània and head towards Estació del Nord, where an old locomotive is waiting to take you to the Far West. On your journey, you will be able to enjoy unforgettable views and discover the most secret corners of PortAventura World.

FAR WEST

The train has arrived at its destination. Welcome to the Far West! In this lost town, which is inspired by North American culture, you will find three attractions for the littlest of cowboys.

Buffalo Rodeo

A circular track with bumper cars specifically designed for children, where the aim is to tame and drive your very own buffalo.
Tomahawk

A children’s roller coaster, with ascents and descents. Only for the bravest of cowboys. Please note: 1.05 m minimum height.
Carousel

The famous Far West carousel is one of the most popular attractions for children. Ideal for all the family to enjoy.

POLYNESIA

Let’s leave our cowboys boots behind and continue our adventure in the tropical rainforest of French Polynesia, where you will find Canoes. This is an attraction in which children can travel through all the Polynesian rivers and lakes in a canoe. The palm trees, bushes, ascents and descents will make them feel like real adventurers.

SÉSAMOAVENTURA

We arrive at what is, without a doubt, the best area in PortAventura World for young children, SésamoAventura, where children can find attractions that have height restrictions of less than one meter. In addition, in this fantastic world is set in Sesame Street, so you will not only find a lot of attractions for children, but their favourite characters will be there too.

CHINA

Your oriental adventure is about to begin. This world is inspired by colonial China. Here, in addition to fantastic restaurants, you will find some attractions that are designed specifically for children, including a children’s area.

What is the minimum height restriction for PortAventura Park attractions?

Without a doubt, there is fun for everyone at PortAventura World. However, although age doesn’t matter, height does. Check the height restrictions for entry to each of the attractions.
