This weekend a very special guest is coming to PortAventura World.

And to kick off the festive season in style, PortAventura Park has transformed into a place where magic and adrenaline merge together to create thousands of unforgettable memories.

There are already some wintry characters from the North Pole wandering along our main street, carrying gifts and bursting with exciting stories to share with you. And we’re premiering some new Christmas shows that are bound to leave you feeling surprised in a way that you never would’ve expected.

Shows Made to Shine

This Christmas is packed with shows that you’ll remember forever. You might already be familiar with some of them, like Christmas Parade or La Navidad de Woody, but this year we have some new ones that will make you feel like a child again!

One of these new shows is Christmas Dream, which takes place in one of the most fantastic places to be at Christmas: Santa Claus’ workshop!

Whilst you gawk in amazement at the gravity-defying acrobatic display and hum along to our catchy Christmas songs, the most enthusiastic gnomes and elves will show you how they prepare the gifts they will deliver at Christmas.

Take a good look to see if any of them bears your name!

“HO, HO, HO!” restaurants

Some of PortAventura World’s best restaurants have also been dressed up for Christmas. We’ve decked their huge dining rooms with shiny Christmas baubles, decorated Christmas trees and moss wreaths, guaranteeing to immerse you in a unique atmosphere where you can enjoy traditional Christmas dishes and, if you really don’t want to experience the same old Christmas, some not-so-Christmassy dishes.

A great example of this is La Posada de los Gnomos, a place where you can share a table with Santa Claus’ helpers. Try some amazing dishes with them and… who knows? Maybe if you’re good, you might even have an extra present waiting for you under the tree on Christmas Day!

On the night of 24 December our hotels will also have their kitchens at the ready to whip up a gala dinner for all the adventurers that want to celebrate a Christmas Eve packed with adventure and spell-binding shows.

And our Convention Centre will be prepped to welcome you on the night of 31 December so that we can see in the new year together in style.

But if there is something that would make your Christmas a totally unique experience, it would definitely be our rides.

Because Christmas carols, mince pies and nativity scenes are fine. But a Christmas with thrilling twists and turns, intense acceleration and dizzying drops like the ones you’ll experience on Shambhala, Dragon Khan or Uncharted… well, that’s a Christmas that will last a lifetime!
