Under the umbrella of the EcoEduca program, PortAventura World presents its novelty ‘The Green Adventure,’ a sustainability scavenger hunt aimed at school groups visiting the resort. This initiative not only aims to teach about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also to do so in a fun and entertaining way, combining education and entertainment during their visit.
Launch of The Green Adventure
The Green Adventure will be available from June 10 and will be available until July 31. This scavenger hunt has been designed to combine the excitement of an theme park with valuable teaching about sustainability. During their visit, schoolchildren will be able to solve educational challenges that will allow them to learn about 5 SDGs in a practical and fun way.
Sustainable Development Goals and Challenges
The scavenger hunt will focus on five Sustainable Development Goals, which are essential for promoting a sustainable future:
- SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
- SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
- SDG 13: Climate Action
Throughout the park, there will be 15 challenges related to these SDGs. Five of these challenges involve scanning QR codes located in different areas of the park, which they have to find and scan to access the challenge.

It is important to note that The Green Adventure is exclusively aimed at schools visiting PortAventura Park. To participate, it is necessary to have an entrance ticket and a group reservation.
