Clothing and accessories

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move freely. You’re going to be doing lots of walking, so choose sports shoes and avoid boots or high heels. In summer, if you prefer open shoes, they should hold your feet well. Choose clothes made of polyester or fabrics that dry easily and, if you come in winter, it is always good to have a raincoat on hand. Sunglasses and a cap are also advisable to protect yourself from the sun.

Planning

The resort is very large and there are many attractions and shows worth visiting, so if you come for a few days you may not have time to experience everything. Before coming, choose carefully which shows you want to see and which attractions you would like to ride. On our website and app you will find all the information you need to create your ideal personalised visit. Some extras, such as Express passes, can be very useful.

Accommodation and food

The best way to waste as little time as possible and enjoy a complete PortAventura World experience is to stay at the resort itself. To do this, we offer you themed hotels that will keep your adventure going, even when it’s time to rest. As for food and drink, we have options for all tastes and diets that take allergies into account. Our advice in this regard is to dare to try flavours that you have never dared to try before. Every menu and bite can also be a great adventure!

Take a look at the calendar to choose which day to visit the parks. Saturdays and Sundays are the days that families usually choose and, generally, there are more people.
The ideal time to visit is midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), provided that it doesn’t fall on a bank holiday. It would be in your best interests to check the school calendars in Spain and France, since, as it is so close, we welcome a lot of French tourists in the park.
And, obviously, you should be aware that, during the summer, on long weekends or at Easter, the crowds will always be bigger, as well as on special occasions such as Halloween.
