Here’s our 2024 Summer Recap!

Now that September has arrived, we must bid farewell to summer in the way it deserves: with a smile on our face, grateful for everything it gave us!

The summer of 2024 has been one of the best ones to date and sharing it with you was a real treat! Read this post to join us on a whistlestop tour of some of our season highlights.

Don’t be depressed, as summer coming to an end doesn’t mean that the fun stops here. That’s because an amazing autumn, bursting with experiences and emotions, is just around the corner!

A RECORD-BREAKING SUMMER

Between June and August, we were joined by thousands of Adventurers from all corners of the world.

This fills us with joy, as these special visitors make our park a more enriching and, ultimately, memorable place!

In June and July, we were visited by loads of young people who were seeking amazing, adrenaline-inducing adventures to kick-start their summer holidays. And in August, our hotels and parks were filled with families from here, there and everywhere, looking to enjoy one of the most memorable summers ever here at PortAventura World!

We want to say ‘gracias!’ to all of you who visited us this summer and would like to encourage you to keep coming! That’s because September, October, November and December will also be packed with incredible experiences.

YOU GOT SOAKED!

We know how much you love our classic rollercoasters such as Dragon Khan, Furius Baco and Shambhala, and the reviews of our shows such as Can Can Story, Magic Bubble and FiestAventura simply speak for themselves…

But this summer, the undisputed stars of the show have been our water rides and Caribe Aquatic Park!

Not only did you take the plunge on rides such as Tutuki Splash and Silver River Flume, but you also made Caribe Aquatic Park a genuine home from home.

We loved watching you travel down our epic slides such as King Khajuna and Las Barracudas. We were thrilled to see whole families having a blast in our kiddy’s play areas. And above all else, we were delighted to see our swimming pools filled with visitors having a truly wonderful time!

What’s more, you passed all the challenges we set you on social media with flying colours! We enjoyed Roller Coaster Week together, you helped us pick up 10 tonnes of plastic from the shores of the Mediterranean in collaboration with Gravity Wave, and you also joined us at our 13^th Charity Dinner…

But that’s not all! We also celebrated National Grandparents Day in the way it deserves and jumped with joy when Spain won Euro 2024 final.

What a summer!
