Ticket purchase and information

  • The purchase of these tickets must be made at the ticket booths or at the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs.
  • You will be required to present an official document certifying that the holder has a recognised disability of at least 33% at the time of collection. All the information you need to plan your visit is available from the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs.
  • We work continuously to adapt our facilities and make the architecture at PortAventura Park fully accessible, so you can have the most fun time.
  • A maximum of four companions are allowed (one of them must be an adult and be fully able to take responsibility for care).
  • Thanks to access without architectural barriers to show venues, individuals with reduced mobility will be able to enjoy shows accompanied by a maximum of one adult.
  • Visitors who use any type of prosthetic limbs must ask PortAventura World staff if they are able to access the attraction.

Questions about our parks and services

  • What is the ticket price for disabled visitors?

    The price varies depending on the days and the parks you wish to visit. There are special-rate tickets available for disabled/special needs visitors and you can check the prices here.
    • Which ticket types are available to purchase?

      1-Day; 2 Days, 2 Parks; 3 Days, 2 Parks, 3 Days, 3 Parks, etc. Check the prices here.
      • Are special-rate tickets also available for the companions of disabled visitors?

        The reduced price is only for people who are able to prove, with official documentation, disability equal to or greater than 33%. Companions pay full price for their tickets.
        • Where can I buy tickets for disabled visitors?

          Tickets for disabled visitors are only available to purchase in person at the PortAventura ticket booths or at the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs. They cannot be purchased from the website, from an agency, or in advance. 
          • Where can I find the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs?

            The office is located just after the general ticket booths in PortAventura Park and next to the entrance to Caribe Aquatic Park.
            • What documentation do I have to bring to prove that I am eligible for the disability rate?

              Disability card issued by the competent official body in the autonomous community or country of origin, or legal document which states the recognised level of disability. 
              • Is parking free for disabled visitors?

                No, the usual rates apply. You can see the parking charges here.  
                • Is there a specific parking area for disabled visitors?

                  We have parking for visitors with reduced mobility, located in the closest access area to the park. It is necessary to prove reduced mobility to the staff managing this parking area.

                  Questions abour priority access requirements - Access free from architectural barriers

                  • What conditions must be met to obtain the wristband in order to access the attractions without architectural barriers?

                    It is necessary to prove the recognised minimum disability of 33% and, in addition, be affected by reduced mobility or we will also accept a medical certificate that proves that you have a neurodevelopmental disorder on the autism spectrum. 
                    • What type of priority access do I have with this wristband?

                      Access to rides without architectural barriers. Please note that this is not priority access and visitors will still have to wait the necessary amount of time in order to access the attraction. A maximum of four companions are allowed and at least one of them must be an adult and fully able to take responsibility for assisting the disabled visitor, following the instructions given by staff at all times. 
                      • Where do I go to collect this wristband?

                        Park visitors who have not yet purchased their tickets can pick up a wristband at the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs. Guests staying at PortAventura hotels must go to the Guest Service office located in the Mediterrània area.

                        Questions about accompanying disabled visitors on the rides

                        • How many people can accompany the disabled visitor in the access without architectural barriers?

                          In regard to the rides,  a maximum of four companions are allowed and at least one of them must be an adult and fully able to take responsibility for assisting the disabled visitor, following the instructions given by staff at all times. In regard to our shows, the person wearing the special wristband will be able to enjoy the shows by accessing the reserved seats through the entrances without architectural barriers, and they may be accompanied by a maximum of 1 adult. In regard to this matter, our rules state: "Those people with a disability and reduced mobility that prevent them from accessing the shows by themselves via the general waiting lines may do so through the specific entrances, without prejudice to the current waiting time for the show and, accompanied, except in exceptional cases, by a maximum of one other adult person. In the show they will occupy the places reserved for people with disabilities."
                          • Can I use this wristband more than once?

                            As a general rule, the wristband permits one access to the attraction. If you wish to use it again, you must observe the waiting time indicated for the attraction. The staff members for the attraction will assess ​each situation and their instructions should always be followed.
                            • I am a person who meets the conditions indicated above to obtain the special wristband, but my child, under 18 years old, will be with me. Can my child be classed as the mandatory companion as indicated by the rules?

                              No, unfortunately not. Each person who wears the special wristband must be accompanied by an adult, in accordance with our Rules.
                              • If the disabled visitor does not ride an attraction, do their companions benefit from preferential access?

                                The access free from architectural barriers is only available to our disabled visitors. Your companions, if they enter without the accredited person, must access through the main entrance or through the Express queue, after paying for this service. 

                                Questions about our hotels

                                • Is there a discount on hotel bookings for disabled guests?

                                  No, there are no discounts on hotel bookings for disabled guests. Please contact us if you have any queries.
                                  • Which hotels have adapted rooms?

                                    There are partially adapted rooms available in Hotel El Paso and Hotel Caribe. Hotel PortAventura, Hotel Gold River, Hotel Mansión de Lucy and Hotel Colorado Creek have fully adapted rooms available. Talk to our Booking Centre to discuss the best option for your special needs in any particular aspect of these rooms, such as features of the bathrooms/showers, height of the bed, etc. We suggest that you inform yourself in advance of the characteristics of our rooms and their suitability regarding your needs. 
                                    • Will the hotel provide me with a wristband to access the attractions?

                                      No. Wristbands are only issued at the Guest Service Office for Visitors with Special Needs or at the Guest Service office in PortAventura Park or Ferrari Land.
